I particularly appreciate the funkiness this song invokes for the majority of its duration. There are a couple gaps in this piece though the make certain parts feel empty and sort of destroy the continuity of it. I really like it though and I think that overall you have a good thing going here!

The otherworldly quality this song possesses is undeniable and it totally makes me visualize the twinkling stars in the sky at night. My only criticism is that I think this song moves a little too slow to the point where it comes off as somewhat sluggish. Although I do think the slow pace helps give it that soothing trance tone, I believe this song went too far in that respect. Besides that I think you did a really good job with this one! Keep it up!

thank you! i appreciate your feedback as always!

I feel wishiwashi about this song. I really admire the dark synthetic symphonies littered within here, but I feel the accompanying lullaby-like harmonics just don’t give that strong melodic sound the justice it deserves. There are definitely some elements that are great with this song but I personally don’t think that dark synth and light synth go together (balance each other out) well. I apologize in advance if this may sound direct I don’t mean it to.

haha; this is definitely one of my more scatterbrained attempts;) i kind of enjoy using a dichotomy of sounds and patches though!

I wasn’t the biggest fan of the introduction to this song but the second half certainly makes up for it, giving off a sort of ethereal sound that expresses the theme of the song as a whole.

thank you! intros are usually the one of the last things i add to a song (and also the point where i get a little lazy)

This makes me think of when, after a storm on a rainy day, when humidity fills the air, the sun emerges from the clouds, and a feint rainbow starts to become more opaque in an open field. A feeling of warmth and happiness that comes following miserable weather.

I love this song! It just pumps me up and is so upbeat and exhilarating. Great job on this one, it’s an incredible one!

So melodically crisp and clean and just a total blast to listen to! Great job on this one, Geoplex!

A bright and youthful tune that really gives off summertime beach vibes. I like it!

The happy, campy, excitement throughout this song is emphasized on certain areas which fits the theme the title tries to express very nicely. Good job on this one!

Omigod, this is fan-f**king-tastic, dude! I love the synthesized video game symphony you have created. The way this masterpiece is structured is absolutely brilliant in how it perfectly represents the story of Icarus. The upbeat first third of the song is meant to depict the flight of Icarus into the sky. The second third of the song, which is when the song slows down almost immediately, is meant to depict Icarus’s fall from the heavens after the Sun melts his artificial wings. Finally, the last third of the song re-introduced the tragic conclusion to the mythological tale when Icarus crashes to the ground and dies, Daedalus (the father of Icarus, who built artificial wings for Icarus and himself) mourning his own son’s demise and blaming himself. This is definitely a new favorite of mine!!

haha, i was actually about to call this one "and that's when i hit the wall", but the icarus analogy seemed more romantic
